What do I need to bring with me?
The purpose of this page is to ensure that you have the necessary gear to keep you safe and comfortable during your outing with Lake Superior Angling Co, LLC. Below is a list of everything you need. However you MUST have a Michigan Fishing License if you are 17 years old, or older. This can be done online using the link below - please print your license and bring it with you on your trip.

Additional Items to Bring with You
Clothing
Make sure to dress in LAYERS. The weather can change quickly when on the water. While it may be 65 degrees when we leave the launch it could be 50 degrees on the water and 80 degrees upon our return. This is a typical July day in the Upper Peninsula. Layers should include a rain coat, multiple layers of clothing, a hat, and gloves if you prefer. Polarized sunglasses are excellent to have when on the water.
Suncreen
You should make sure to bring Sunscreen and Bug Spray if necessary. While we do have these types of items in the boat it is not always the preferred kind of our clients. You should bring the personal items you would prefer for comfort. These can be placed in a small bag to store on the boat.
Motion Sickness
If you suffer from motion sickness please plan ahead to take the necessary medication prior to your departure.
Drinks and Lunch
We supply a cooler on the boat with bottled water. You will want to bring food, snacks, and drinks to accommodate the passengers with you on your fishing trips. Alcoholic beverages ARE permitted on the boat by legal-aged passengers, but drunkeness of any of the passengers will not be tolerated and may result in the boat returning to the dock and the termination of the trip.
